Code of Ethics
Introduction
At Clean Slate Hub, we believe that true success comes not only from results but also from the way we achieve them. Upholding the highest ethical standards is at the heart of our mission to support individuals across Canada. Our clients, colleagues, and partners place their trust in us, and it is our responsibility to honour that trust through ethical conduct in all our business activities.
This Code of Ethics sets out the values and principles that guide us. It applies to all employees, contractors, and representatives of Clean Slate Hub.
Our Core Values
Compassion
We recognize that our clients often come to us during some of the most challenging times in their lives. We respond with empathy, patience, and understanding.
Clarity
We communicate openly and honestly, using clear and accessible language. We make sure clients understand their options, rights, and responsibilities.
Trustworthiness
We keep our promises, protect confidential information, and act in ways that earn long-term trust.
Equity
We treat all individuals fairly, with dignity and respect, regardless of their background, financial situation, or personal circumstances.
Progress
We strive for continuous growth and improvement, learning from each other and from those we serve to create better outcomes every day.
Our Ethical Principles
- Compliance with laws and regulations: We comply with all applicable laws, industry standards, and professional obligations in Canada.
- Avoiding conflicts of interest: We act in the best interests of our clients and disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest immediately.
- Honesty in dealings: We are committed to providing accurate, truthful, and transparent information — never misleading, exaggerating, or concealing important facts.
- Confidentiality and privacy: We respect and protect all personal and sensitive information entrusted to us, in compliance with Canadian privacy laws.
- Respectful workplace: We foster a culture where everyone is treated with dignity, inclusion, and respect. Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Community and sustainability: We recognize our responsibility to contribute positively to our communities and to minimize environmental impact in our operations.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage employees, contractors, clients, and partners to raise concerns if they believe there has been a breach of this Code. Reports can be made to a manager, HR representative, or directly to support@cleanslatehub.ca.
All concerns will be reviewed fairly and confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith will not be tolerated.
Disciplinary Action
Violations of this Code may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or termination of a business relationship, as appropriate.
Conclusion
Ethical behaviour at Clean Slate Hub is more than compliance — it is about building trust, showing compassion, and creating meaningful impact. We expect everyone representing Clean Slate Hub to uphold these values and principles, ensuring that our clients and communities can rely on us as a source of clarity, integrity, and hope.
